Antique Ameriican Miniature Faux Bamboo Side Chair with woven cane seat measures
The carving is excellent and of excellent quality. The faint green hew to the wood would have originally been gold paint. And there are two sewn velvet bands at the finials which may have been decoration or to attach a red velvet pillow leading us to conclude that this would be a sample of music chairs which were widely used in Victorian America. The quality would lead us to a Northeast manufacturer.
